Triangle Zsketch

Inspired by an image I'd seen somewhere. It also evokes in me memories of this ps3 launch title ( I think ) called Lair. I just remember they had these distinctive dragon designs. Anyways with this particular zsketch I played around with surface texture. Its a balancing act, you don't want to put high frequency detail over every single part of the surface. If so, the eyes will be overwhelmed and the image will read as noise. I like the silhouette, and I think I was reasonably successful implementing the "big detail, medium detail, and small detail" in a balanced manner.

Monsters are just so much fun.
